Want to know how to fold a burrito? Burritos are great for any occasion. You can serve them as a meal, or fill them with all sorts of yummy things and make an appetizer out of it! Burritos are also easy to make at home – just follow these simple steps:
Hold the tortilla like a steering wheel, with both hands.
Do not fold it over or pinch it in half; just hold it straight up and down with both hands.
As you hold the tortilla, it will naturally bend in the center (due to gravity) if your hands aren’t symmetrically placed on opposite sides of the tortilla Do not fold the tortilla in half with one hand. This is extremely important! The tortilla is a round shape and will naturally curve inward like a bowl when held straight up and down by two hands. If you use only one hand to hold the tortilla, it will collapse inward on itself because of its own weight.
Place your filling on the bottom third of the tortilla and sprinkle with cheese.
If you are making a burrito for yourself, feel free to add more filling than you would normally eat in one sitting; it will be harder to fold if there isn’t enough food inside.
A flour tortilla is preferable because it’s easier to work with, but corn tortillas are traditional in Mexico and can be a more authentic experience. The best filling is meat, cheese and vegetables. The best cheese is grate cheddar or jack. Vegetable – lettuce (not iceberg). Meat – beef or chicken. Tortilla – flour or corn (not white). Place your filling on the bottom third of the tortilla and sprinkle with cheese.

Fold the bottom of the tortilla up and over the filling, using one hand to hold all of it in place.
To fold the tortilla over, use one hand to hold all of it in place. Use your other hand to fold up and over the filling. Repeat with the other side of the wrap. Then use your fingers to gently push down on the burrito before rolling it over to seal. You can also try a different folding technique by placing the filling in the center of your tortilla. And then rolling from each side, tucking in ends as needed.

Now fold in opposite sides – like an envelope – and use your hands to tuck everything in tightly.
It’s important not to overfill the burrito, so be sure not to leave any gaps between you and the next person in line. Also, don’t worry about making it look perfect: remember that this is a mailing tube! You’ll get another chance when you’re done eating! Now you should be ready to eat your burrito! Enjoy!
Turn 180 degrees and continue rolling from bottom until you have a burrito. Fold sideways and eat while it’s still warm.
To turn the burrito 180 degrees, hold it in your left hand and use your right hand to press on the edge of the burrito. As you do so, slide it over to where you want it to be folded.
To make sure that you don’t fold too tightly (or not at all), keep your fingers pressed against each other as well as against their respective places while rolling outwards from bottom to top (or vice versa). This will help prevent any creases from forming along these parts of our creation. It’s important not to eat while your burrito is still warm. The filling contains high amounts of sodium and fat that can be detrimental to our health if eaten in large quantities (especially if they’ve already been cooked). Instead, let it cool down before consuming. If you’re still feeling hungry, then maybe it’s time to make another burrito. This time, use extra tortillas instead of just two.
Burritos are hard to fold
It is no secret that burritos are hard to fold. In fact, we’ve all been there: you’re trying to get a burrito out of your tortilla but it just won’t cooperate with you. You spend so much time and effort trying to get that first bite of food into your mouth before realizing that what was supposed to be an easy-to-eat snack has become more of a challenge than expected.
So why do they always look so complicated? Well, if I were able to give advice on how best to fold one I would say “don’t.” The truth is that they’re not difficult at all—you just need some practice! Here’s how:
1. Put the ingredients in your tortilla, but don’t put too much in or else it won’t fit. 2. Roll up one side of your tortilla and then start rolling the other side over that one so that both sides meet in the middle. 3. Take hold of both ends firmly with both hands and pull them apart until they form a circle. 4. Hold onto one end while you fold the other side down so that it touches the surface below. 5. Put your fingers inside so they’re holding both pieces together tightly and then roll them up until all of them have been folded over.
Burritos are one of those foods that are hard to fold, but they’re also one of the most delicious. If you’re still having problems with your burrito-folding skills, try heating up some tortillas in a dry skillet before trying again. Or just move on to something else!
